My Elephant BOBO

I've my own elephant called Bobo. Last summer I went to the Africa with my friends. We stayed in a little hotel. When we went to the Safari I saw a elephant. Then we went to the hotel. At that night someone knocked my door. When I opened the door I saw thatlovely elephant again. And the elephant's name is Bobo. Then we went to my home with Bobo. Bobo's room is on the third floor. I feed Bobo every day in my elephant kitchen. I think Bobo is very special because Bobo is so lovely and cute. I suggested that animal to my friend and my family because elephants are so special and funny. I feed it with a pot. It's so funny. I love BOBO!!!

Hope diamond is blue to the naked eye because of trace amounts of boron within it's crystal structure, and exhibits red phosphorescence after exposure to ultraviolet light. It has a long recorded history, with few gaps in which it changed hand numareus times on it's way from India to France to Britian and to the United States. It has been described as the "most famous diamond in the world".

Koh-i-noor Diamond and The Sepoy Rebellion

Koh-i-noor Diamond: Koh-i-noor diamond is one of the largest known dimond.In 1850, the diamond was confiscated from the Sikh Empire by the British East India Company and became part of the British Crown Jewels when Queen Victoria was proclaimed Empress of India in 1877. The diamond was traditionally known as "Kuh-e nur" in the 19th century after the British conquest of India. The diamond is currently set into the Crown of Queen Elizabeth and is on display at the Tower of London.
         

The Sepoy Rebellion:One of the most well-known uprisings during the British colonization of India was a mutiny of the native troops known as "sepoys".   When it began on Sunday, May 10, 1857 the Sepoy rebellion was a complete surprise to the British, many of whom were blind to the unrest that had been created, in part, by the rapid imposition of direct British control over two-thirds of India. The campaign to suppress the revolt lasted until April 1859.
